Dear Jeremy and all,

we produce as requested by the incoming order
(I'll dig out more pictures with multi-colours, as far as I remember a
company wanted in their technical parts
all their logo colours integrated, but in general colour for technical
parts is not an issue at all)

Still I would be happy for a link were we can forward the requests
incoming for e.g. 1,5m eiffel tower, players or any other
e.g. fun/collector item, were small units are quested

RMPD technologies produce many parts at the same time on one maschine
-so most of our biz is in technical used parts
and we are looking for teams taking care for the 1 part requests.

Best regards
Andrea

In defence of Stefano you did only ask about the glam rock
pig.................sorry I mean pony Andrea and he didn’t claim that
the Connex could do all of the small parts that your system can so I
think that you being a bit unfair to him there.

Also I feel that there should be a distinction made in naming standards
here between 2 system colours such as the one used to produce the glam
pig and indeed a connex and full colour system such as the colour ZCorps
and the Mcorr iris. It is already well established practice to make the
distinction between black and white TV’s (for those of us old enough to
remember them) and colour ones. Perhaps we should adopt the terms ‘Dual
colour’ and ‘Multi colour’. What do people think?

By the way appologies to anybody who is confused by me inserting the
letter U into the word colour.

Jez.

I’m not so sure, the build lines of the mane and tail are at a different
orientation than the body, if it was one hit on a Connex they would be
in the same plane. At a guess I’d say they’ve glued separate components
together.

I would put my money more on a Stratasys Connex. The combination of
dual materials (colors) and layer lines are what is making me think
that. If you zoom in, it shows signs of the Polyjet technology as well.

Interested to see where things go with this.

I’m pretty sure that it’s actually an SLA. Don’t forget its only 10mm
tall, so for an RP part the resolution is quite good (far exceeding an
FDM machine at least).

I would have guessed a laboratory genome splicing activity gone awry.
Or it could be someone hoping to pay for a low end extrusion unit,
quick! J

John

I and I dare to say many of the people on this list would genuinely love
to know what Hasbro legal has to say about this. I’m not sure if you
would be allowed to share their response with us but if you can it would
be greatly appreciated. I have to agree with you about the quality
though. The head actually looks more like a pig’s head with a 70’s glam
rock hairstyle.........errrr so my dad told me.

Jeremy.

I wonder what opinion Hasbro Legal would have about this? Not only is
it a copy of our My Little Pony Pinkie Pie but a bad one, both in data
and quality.
