     The models I have seen seemed to be fabricated solid. But the
process certainly has the potential to use certain kinds of fill
patterns or generate interior cavities. The difficulty, as with many
other machines, will be the need for supports for overhangs. In a way,
one could consider just filling in an interior region with the standard,
fuzzy support structures to be a kind of fill pattern, and certain
variations on this theme could be interesting to explore.
