What If Auto Makers Sold Rapid Prototyping?

* A lot of hoopla would accompany the introduction of each year's new
models, even though they would be pretty much the same as the previous
*When a system crashed it would bounce across the room out of control,
destroying three others in the process.
* Upon discovering a defect, vendors would spend four years denying there
was a problem rather than ship an upgrade.
* Every system available in 1996 would have the same capacity and same
performance, but would cost twice as much as the system you could have
bought in 1986.
* Right after the salesman finishes telling you how reliable your new RP
system will be, you will be pressured to buy an extended warranty.

I corrupted a version of this from InformationWeek.
