Re: MIT Technology Used in RP Machine

Z Corporation is currently selling commercial 3D printers for the office
environment. The outstanding feature of our system is the build rate which
is substantially higher than that of any other rapid prototyping system on
the market. Parts can be built in a matter of minutes or hours. Thus our
parts are very useful as appearance models at the early stage of the design

Furthermore, our system is not constrained by the geometric limitations of
most of the other rapid prototyping systems since the loose powder acts as a
support structure during the entire build. Therefore overhangs, undercuts
and other complex geometries can be built with no support structures.
