Real useful information

Thank you for this simple method, it may be obvious to some, but I never thought
it through.

Question: Do you need to approximate the maximum cross sectional area of the
target part and run your test sample in the same size silicone mold to get the
true peak or will that make a difference?

Try this. Mix the same amount of urethane that would be used in the part.
Measure the exothermic peak. Cure the silicone mold at that temperature. Heat
the mold to this temperature when casting the urethane part.
