Christina: I find it useful to distinguish between "Direct RP" (build the
model directly) and "Indirect RP" (rapid tooling of molds to produce the
model). Some simply say "RP" (direct) and "RP&M" (indirect). The latter I
believe is the acronym for rapid prototyping & manufacturing, an even
broader topic.
