quotes requested for Penn State Research - PIM die insert using SLS and Keltool

I am contacting you for our project on "Time Compression Techniques for Rapid
Tooling" in Penn State University, headed by Dr. Paul Cohen and Dr. Sanjay

In this, we are evaluating for the "Center for Innovative Sintered Products
(CISP)" , the current rapid tooling technologies for compaction and injection
molding of powdered metals. We have come down to some viable processes like SLS
and Keltool which can be used for making bridge tooling for powder compaction
and injection.

We are on the verge of successfully completing one part of this study - to test
SLS and Keltool dies for powder compaction. We are now going to look into the
PIM aspect of this research.

Attached is the .stl file of the die insert we want to get made using the SLS
(material-Rapidsteel) and Keltool (material-A6) processes (1 insert per
process). The tolerance on the cavity dimensions are pretty tight - 0.002 inch
and we require a good surface finish and hardness (for our application, the
hardness has to be at least 20 RC). We want to send out the orders ASAP. So if
you use these processes and are interested in our research, please send in your
quote (email/fax) immediately. Please include post-processing (hardening,
finishing) costs in the quotes and if possible, please show separate pricing
for each item.
