RE: blocking unwanted ads

We use a personal firewall called ZoneAlarm Pro ( ), which gives you complete
control over stuff like that (called AdBlocker), and what programs access
Internet. It is highly recommended. We use it on every PC here as a backup
for our main firewall (which did get messed up once, and ZoneAlarm started
giving us all kinds of warnings about other PC's trying to access ours.
It's also VERY reasonable.

While I'm plugging good software, I also like SpamKiller from McAfee a lot.
It's a very comprehensive rule set that filters your Outlook Inbox and
automatically deletes whatever you tell it to. If you are sick and tired of
using your delete key, check it out ( ).

BTW, I do NOT recommend McAfee or Norton firewalls. They are useless fluff
compared to ZoneAlarm.

Dear List

Please reply of the list to this enquiry.

I've recently started having trouble with my PC flashing advertisements on
my desktop. The most popular ones are as follows

Free info
Scratch and Win
and Columbia CD's

I've tried to stop it from happening but I can't. It is the most irritating
of thing to hit my PC yet. I've tried adware plus which removed 2
components which were causing me to loose my cool but the problem persists.
Can any one out there help me.

Best regards
