Using an SLA250/30 and the old buildstation software (pre-LightYear) I
did this on a regular base. You can use different styles for each part
and each height range.

Some experiences:

1) often, you invest much time in preparing different styles. Sometimes
more time than the time you save in the machine.

2) All styles at one height have to be compatible. You can mix 0,1 mm
and 0,2 mm Layers, but not 0,1 mm and 0,15 mm. Example: Use 0,2 mm for
supports to save about 10 minutes on each build.

3) As said, you may have different shrinkage/surface roughness for
different styles. Depends on the combination of styles and on how you
finish surfaces.

4) Building QuickCast isn't the big time saver it seems at the first
look. You have to drain the hollow parts anyway and I couldn't find a
method to fill it after the build without getting really ugly surfaces
or internal breaks. Depends on your customer wether (s)he is satisfied
with a partially hollow part.

5) You can save a lot of time with the old "Doctor" sweeper when using
different sweep numbers and/or wait times depending on the slice area
at a given height. Since the laser moving part of the style remains the
same, accuracy isn't much an issue.

6) Don't know how flexible LightYear is.

Hope that helps,
