a few comments from Naguib Saleh, one of our researchers at Loughborough

usually ultrasonic is used for 15 minutes after putting the SL samples in
the TPM for 60 to 90 minutes, and it is the last process before UV curing,
as the samples should be washed with water quickly and drayed before the UV
Curing stage.

the ultrasonic doesn't seem to affect the mechanical properties of the SL
material, however if it is used for longer periods the parts might be
affected. but the parts will get rid of all the attached resin and the gel
layer wich is produced in some types of resins (afetr 1 houre in the
