Hi Stephen,
If you intend to make a functional test, I d'ont recommend you the metal
obtained with the EOS machine. For valves, who are 'very difficult'
pieces I recommend you the 99% density obtained with ONE alloy, of
CONCEPT LASER from Germany. You can take a look in
'' or better, send a STL file for quotation direct
to them.

Hello everyone

I am looking for information regarding the EOS
Has anyone had tool inserts for injection moulding or die casting made
using this method. How did they compare to CNC? Is there any technical
data on the properties of the metal?
Are there any case studies comparing sintering of metal tool inserts to
conventional methods such as CNC.
Has anyone had any metal components made and used for functional
testing, valves for example.

Thanks for your help,
Kind Regards
Stephen Toohey
