Dear Rapid Prototyping Community!

This message is to inform you that Shareware version of StlView NetScape
Plug-In version 1.0 is ready for downloading from:

 ftp://ftp.cyberware.com/pub/stlview/npstl32.htm

Below is a brief description of functionality incorporated in StlView
NetScape Plug-In, but in a few words that Plug-In will open a new era
of transferring STL files through Inter/Intranets, as well as in
combination with NetScape Navigator it can be used as a chiep, simple
and usefull STL vizualization and conversion utility.

You don't have to run separate program (usually pretty expensive) to View,
Import Binary or ASCII STL files, 3D Studio (3DS) files or StlView SOL files
and Export them to Binary or ASCII STL, SOL, 3DS, DXF, IGES or VRML...

Unfortunatelly, all Rapid Prototyping publications around are advertising
software products of BigGuys (like SolidView, or MagicView; cause those guys
are probably paying for this, of course from your pocket)
Maybe it's time for you to look around and compare?...

So, please, try my products: in combination StlView v7.0 and StlView
NetScape Plug-In v1.0 can become the only instruments you need to view,
analyze, fix and work with STL files as well as place them into any documents
inside OLE2.0 compliant software like MS Word, MS Excel, Write, Cardfile
and etc(StlView v7.0) and inside HTML documents and Internet(StlView NetScape
Plug-In v1.0)...

If you like it, please, register...

Best Regards,
Igor Tebelev

       StlView NetScape Plug-In version 1.0

       Introduction StlView NetScape Plug-In will allow to open
                         local or remote Binary or ASCII STL files as
                         well as 3D-Studio and StlView SOL files inside
                         NetScape browser (32bit Edition under Windows95
                         or WindowsNT) as well as visualize Solid objects
                         Embedded into HTML documents. It will allow you
                         to view, analyze, place solids on HTML documents
                         as well as export them to Binary or ASCII STL,
                         DXF, IGES, 3DS and VRML files used in a lot of
                         CAD/CAM systems and Rapid Prototyping
                         technology. You don't need any other special
                         software except your existing NetScape browser
                         and StlView NetScape Plug-In to do such
                         important and useful operations as Solid
                         Visualization, Import from STL, SOL or 3DS and
                         Export to Binary or ASCII STL, SOL, 3DS, DXF,
                         IGES or VRML...

                         If you have already made a vise choice and
                         install and register the last edition of StlView
                         v7.0, then StlView Plug-In can automatically
                         load StlView v7.0 system with embedded Solid and
                         you are ready to use a lot of enhanced functions
                         of StlView. You can download StlView v7.0 from:

                           ftp://ftp.cyberware.com/pub/stlview - USA,
                             California
                           http://avalon.viewpoint.com/ - USA, Italy
                             and Prague
                           CompuServe: ACAD forum, Modeling Section
                             (search STL)
                           CompuServe: LEAP forum, Rapid Prototyping
                             Section

                         Together StlView v7.0 and StlView NetScape
                         Plug-In v1.0 can become the only instruments you
                         need to view, analyze and work with STL files as
                         well as place them into any documents inside
                         OLE2.0 compliant software like MS Word, MS
                         Excel, Write, Cardfile and etc(StlView v7.0) and
                         inside HTML documents and Internet(StlView
                         NetScape Plug-In v1.0)...But, even if you've
                         decided not to use StlView v7.0, you can still
                         get advantages of StlView Plug-In, simply try
                         it...

       System StlView NetScape Plug-In v1.0 is a 32bit program
       Requirements and will only work with NetScape Browser 32bit
                         edition only under Windows95 or WindowsNT. It
                         has been tested to work fine with NetScape
                         Navigator v2 and v3 (both 32bit).

       Step-by-Step After, you've downloaded file NPSTL32.ZIP use
       Installation PKUNZIP utility to extract NPSTL32.DLL and
       Instructions manually copy it into PLUG-IN directory of your
                         NetScape Browser(usually NETSCAPE\PLUGINS\ or
                         NETSCAPE\PROGRAM\PLUGINS). That's it, except you
                         have to reload your NetScape Browser and now you
                         are ready to activate StlView NetScape Plug-In.

                         To test StlView NetScape Plug-In goto File/Open
                         menu of NetScape and open existing STL or 3DS
                         file located on your system. Working?... Press,
                         right Mouse button while cursor is inside View
                         window, select desired functions from the PopUp
                         menu... Ok, local file is working. But what if
                         you want to investigate remote STL or 3DS file?
                         No problems! Enter
                         "ftp://fantasia.eng.clemson.edu/SLA/Chabot.stl"
                         or any other in Location filed of NetScape and
                         wait... Working? Ok, but what if you want to
                         place STL, SOL or 3DS file onto HTML page? Very
                         simple - use the following samples:

                           <embed name=stl SRC="linkrods.stl" WIDTH=200
                             HEIGHT=200>
                           <embed name=sol SRC="linkrods.sol" WIDTH=100
                             HEIGHT=150>
                           <embed name=3ds SRC="duck.3ds" WIDTH=300
                             HEIGHT=400>
                           <a href="ftp://fantasia.eng.clemson.edu/SLA/Chabot.stl>
                             "Test of Chabot"

                         In the above examples:

                           -first one, will place STL file with the
                             name linkrods.stl in the window with the
                             width=200 and height=200;
                           -second one, will place StlView SOL file
                             with the name linkrods.sol in the window
                             with the width=100 and height=150;
                           -third one, will place 3DS file with the
                             name duck.3ds in the window with the
                             width=300 and height=400;
                           -fourth one, will direct the user to
                             ftp://fantasia.eng.clemson.edu/SLA/Chabot.stl
                             if he presses "Test of Chabot" and open that
                             file in a full window mode
                            If you are a WebMaster planing to embed STL,
                             SOL or 3DS file into HTML documents, please,
                             copy this page as well as NPSTL32.ZIP to
                             your location and use the similar syntax
                             while embedding above objects:
                             <embed name=stl SRC="linkrods.stl"
                             PLUGINSPAGE="LOCATION" WIDTH=50 HEIGHT=50>

                                 Where, tag PLUGINSPAGE="LOCATION" must
                                 point to the location of this page on
                                 your server (replace "LOCATION" by real
                                 location of the page). Above syntax will
                                 allow users who don't have installed STL
                                 viewer on their systems to download one.
