Accuracy Study of 15 RP Systems

In a 1998 study by K. Loose of the Institute of Physical and Chemical
Research (RIKEN) and Dr. T. Nakagawa of the Institute of Industrial
Science at the University of Tokyo, the absolute accuracy of fifteen
different rapid prototyping systems was measured. The absolute accuracy
of the tested systems, when fabricating a 50 x 50 x 30 mm part, is
summarized below:
