Part Complexity on the SLA

Greetings RPML,

I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to numerically categorize part
complexity for building parts on the SLA. I am trying to place parts into
three groups of complexity: low, medium, and high. Visually, I have the
ability to categorize the parts with respect to how they will be built on the
SLA. However, mathematically I am running into trouble. I have analyzed
ratios between 1. surface area and extent volume, 2. surface area and part
volume, and 3. part volume and support volume. Unfortunately, no trends are
developing.

Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Again I am
considering the part complexity under the assumption that it will be built on
the SLA.

Thank you in advance,
