Thanks in advance

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wohlers Associates Supports Rapid Product Development Event in South
Africa

FORT COLLINS, COLORADO, USA, October 9, 2003 -- Wohlers Associates,
Inc., a 17-year old independent consulting firm, is supporting the
leading conference on rapid product development in South Africa. The
event, titled the 4th Annual International Conference on Rapid Product
Development, is scheduled for November 5-6, 2003, in Port Elizabeth,
South Africa. The conference will focus on the automotive industry with
presentations from top national experts in rapid prototyping, tooling,
and manufacturing.

Industry consultant, analyst, and author Terry Wohlers, founder and
president of Wohlers Associates, will serve as the keynote speaker of
the conference. This marks the fourth consecutive year for Wohlers to
support the event and serve as keynote speaker. "My continued
involvement with the wonderful people of South Africa is a privilege,"
Wohlers said. "The South Africans are creative, resourceful, and among
the most gracious hosts in the world." This year, Wohlers will also
participate in a pre-conference management workshop on November 4 with
Dr. Deon de Beer of Technikon Free State in Bloemfontein.

The Rapid Product Development Association of South Africa (RAPDASA), a
national group that represents important academic and industrial
organizations, is sponsoring the international conference. PE Technikon
in Port Elizabeth, Technikon Free State, and the Council for Scientific
and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Pretoria are organizing the
conference. The Global Alliance of Rapid Prototyping Associations
(GARPA) has endorsed it.

Nelson Mandela Bay, located at Port Elizabeth, is the gateway to the
Eastern Cape and central to the popular Garden Route. Nearby is the Addo
Elephant National Park, a famous game reserve that is home to 300
elephants and other wild animals. Details on the conference are
available at <http://wohlersassociates.com/RAPDASA03.pdf>

Wohlers Associates focuses on technical, market, and business consulting
as its core activity. In the past, it has provided organizations of all
types and sizes advice on wide ranging issues associated with
prototyping and rapid product development. Much of this guidance has
dealt with equipment purchases, hidden costs, what works and what does
not, industry trends, and growth forecasts. The company also assists
with acquisitions, partnerships, product positioning, competitive
issues, and whether to enter a particular market segment. Additional
